Landscape Architects are professionals who create outdoor spaces that are in harmony with the purpose of the building that they join or their location. The architecture should also be well-suited to the natural environment. 1. The Training needed to be a Landscape Architect

Landscape Architects usually have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution in landscape architecture. The coursework includes landscape design as well as construction, ecology, surveying, sight design and regional and urban planning. Many programs include practical experience and internships.

2. Getting a Landscape Architect License

Licensing requires a degree from an accredited program in landscape architecture along with work experience. Candidates also need to pass the Landscape Architect Registration Examination which is administered by the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Board. There may be state exams also. To maintain a license, landscape architects need to enroll in continuing education in their field.

3. Tips for a Future Landscape Architect

Since landscape architects draw blueprints for the construction of different things connected with landscaping, it is a good idea if they have some experience in the construction business.
